Women Having It All

Yes, I believe you can have it all.

But maybe just not all at the same time. Or maybe you focus on one aspect of your life (family) while chugging away SLOWLY at your writing career. Maybe you choose instead to flip that scenario, hire a full-time sitter and go full-force at your writing career.

Where are you at right now? Do you think you have it all? Do you get frustrated that there aren’t more hours in the day?

That's a good question. I think it depends on what "all" of it may be. I've always said that I do not have to have it all, but I just want to enjoy it all! I believe that a person can do and have what their hearts desires are but not all at the same time. I have a list someplace of all of the things that I want to do and experience. So far, so good, but who knows? If not in this life, maybe in the next one. God has promised us eternity with Him if we give our lives to Him. Either way, I will have it all one day!

I know what you mean! And I don't know the answer! Sometimes being a writer (or trying to be...) and a mother means you end up feeling like nothing is getting the attention it deserves.I would fit in the "chugging away slowly" at my writing career and finding it hard to keep on top of the rest! But if its a choice between a spotless kitchen and a finished story, the story wins hands down! But if its a hug that needed, thats a different matter...
Quiet times to write are like gold dust but it goes with the territory...and I like my territory! I agree you can have it all, if you have patience. and you're right, not at the same time.
